Welcome to Mitzvah Logos. By accessing or using our website, purchasing our products or services, or working with us on a custom design project, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.

1. About Mitzvah Logos

Mitzvah Logos specializes in custom logo design, event branding, apparel, signage, invitations, and related creative services for Bar and Bat Mitzvah celebrations.

2. Custom Design Services

Each logo and branding project is created specifically for the client.

To begin a project, clients may be asked to provide:

  • Event date
  • Theme or inspiration
  • Color preferences
  • Names or initials
  • Reference images or ideas
  • Any additional information needed for the design process

Project timelines begin once all required information has been received.

3. Design Revisions

Every custom project includes the number of revisions specified in your proposal or invoice.

Additional revisions or significant changes beyond the agreed scope may result in additional design fees.

4. Payments

Payment terms will be provided at the time of purchase or in your project proposal.

Unless otherwise agreed:

  • A deposit may be required before work begins.
  • Final artwork will not be released until all outstanding balances have been paid in full.
  • Prices are subject to change without notice but will not affect confirmed orders.

5. Turnaround Times

Estimated turnaround times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed.

Project timelines may be affected by:

  • Delays in receiving client information
  • Revision requests
  • Approval timing
  • Production schedules
  • Shipping carrier delays
  • Circumstances outside our reasonable control

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for reviewing all proofs carefully before approving artwork for production.

This includes verifying:

  • Spelling
  • Grammar
  • Dates
  • Names
  • Colors
  • Sizes
  • Quantities
  • Contact information

Once artwork has been approved, Mitzvah Logos is not responsible for errors that were present in the approved proof.

7. Copyright & Intellectual Property

All preliminary concepts, sketches, proofs, and unused designs remain the property of Mitzvah Logos.

Upon full payment, the client receives the rights to use the final approved artwork for their personal Bar or Bat Mitzvah celebration and related materials.

Artwork may not be:

  • Resold
  • Redistributed
  • Licensed
  • Modified for commercial resale
  • Claimed as original work by another designer

Unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Portfolio Rights

Unless a client requests confidentiality in writing before the event, Mitzvah Logos may display completed designs and event photography featuring our work on our website, social media channels, marketing materials, and portfolio.

We will never share private personal information beyond what is visible in the artwork itself.

9. Customer-Supplied Materials

Clients represent that they have the right to use any logos, trademarks, photographs, artwork, or other materials they provide.

Mitzvah Logos is not responsible for copyright or trademark issues arising from materials supplied by clients.

10. Printing & Production

While every effort is made to ensure color accuracy, printed products may vary slightly due to differences in:

  • Printing methods
  • Materials
  • Fabrics
  • Monitors
  • Lighting conditions

Minor color variations do not constitute defects.

11. Shipping

Shipping dates are estimates only.

Mitzvah Logos is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather, customs, or other events outside our control.

12. Cancellations & Refunds

Because custom artwork is created specifically for each client:

  • Deposits are generally non-refundable once work has begun.
  • Completed design work is non-refundable.
  • Refund requests for physical products will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

If an error is caused by Mitzvah Logos, we will work with you to correct the issue whenever reasonably possible.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mitzvah Logos shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the use of our products or services.

Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

14. Website Content

All website content, including text, graphics, logos, photographs, artwork, and designs, is owned by Mitzvah Logos or used with permission.

No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written consent.

15. Privacy

Your use of this website is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

16. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.

Updated versions will become effective upon posting to this website.

17. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
